Save menu provides export options to save fonts as OTF and SVG formats and save the project for later use. History window stores a list with all the changes, values, and action name. A series of action buttons to undo, add shape and component, copy, delete, reverse overlap mode, flip, move and turn the shape into a component instance are also available. Resize, rotate, add rectangular or oval forms, create path points, combine or flip, reverse are just a few of the many available actions and options.Įach shape, listed in the Layers window, has parameters like name, x or y axis values, width and height, overlap mode, that you can adjust in the Attributes window. The Editor window holds the symbols and characters that you have to map and a section to hand draw shapes using the pen. On the left-hand side of the Glyph Edit window, you can find buttons for the editor, known as Chooser, Layers, Attributes, History, Guides and Save menu. It’s slightly more intuitive than FontForge, and offers more of an aesthetically pleasing design interface than both alternatives.
